Highland Kitchen Remodel
A dark galley kitchen opened into a bright family space in the Highlands.
Overview
The owners of this 1920s bungalow cooked in a narrow galley with one window. We removed a load-bearing wall with a flush steel beam and moved the kitchen into the old dining room.
A 10-foot island with a waterfall quartz edge now seats five, and a walk-in pantry hides the small appliances.
