A 5,200 sq ft net-zero ready family home in Cherry Creek, Denver.
Overview
The brief was a family home that would still feel right in fifty years: timber, stone and a lot of glass, with the energy bills of a house half its size.
We built the envelope with continuous exterior insulation and triple-glazed windows, and hit an air-tightness result of 0.9 ACH50. A 14 kW solar array on the flat roof covers almost all of the home's annual use.
