This July, 61 young women supported by our scholarship programme graduated from secondary school, the largest class yet.
What comes next
Twenty-two have places at university or college, and fifteen have started apprenticeships in nursing, electrics and tailoring.
My mother did not finish primary school. I am going to study medicine.
Many of this year’s graduates have signed up to mentor the next group of scholars.
