Nearly a third of people over 75 in our city live alone, and many go days without a conversation.
We match trained volunteers with older neighbours for a weekly visit or phone call, and run craft clubs, lunches and outings every month.
Friendships often last years, and many of our volunteers say they get as much from them as they give.
