About this cause
In the villages around Mzimba, the nearest safe water source can be a three-hour round trip. Girls usually make that walk, which means missing school.
With local partner Madzi Trust we drill new boreholes, repair broken pumps and train a water committee in every village to keep them running. Each well serves around 300 people.
This year we aim to reach 40 villages. Twenty-eight are already done.
