Our silk dresses are sewn by a family workshop on the edge of Porto that has worked with delicate fabrics for three generations.

Why bias cutting is hard

Cutting on the diagonal makes fabric drape and move, but it also makes it stretch. Every seam is sewn slowly and left to hang before hemming.

A bias-cut dress needs a day to settle before it is finished. You cannot rush it.

Small batches

We produce each colour in runs of a few hundred, so nothing is made that will not be worn.
