About Mei

Mei Lin has lived in Kyoto for eleven years and designs every one of our Japan itineraries. She knows which temples open early, which ryokan still serve breakfast by the garden and exactly where to stand on the Shinkansen platform.

Outside the season she studies tea ceremony and leads food walks through Nishiki market.

Japan is full of small, perfect moments. My job is to make sure you are standing in the right place when they happen.
