Screen time and your eyes

Screen time and your eyes

Long hours on screens can leave eyes feeling tired, dry or strained.

Why it happens

We blink less when we concentrate on a screen, and our eyes hold the same focus for long periods.

The 20-20-20 rule

Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

If symptoms persist, an eye exam can check whether you need glasses for screen work.

Sudden changes in vision need urgent attention. Please contact us or seek emergency care.
