Clear aligners or braces: which suits you?

Both aligners and braces move teeth using gentle, steady pressure. The right choice depends on your bite, your lifestyle and how disciplined you are about wearing them.

Aligners: discreet and removable

Aligners suit most mild to moderate crowding and spacing. You can remove them to eat, which means no food rules, but it also means they only work if you wear them 22 hours a day.

Braces: precise and always working

Braces are better for complex rotations and big bite corrections. Ceramic brackets are far less noticeable than the metal braces most adults remember.

The best appliance is the one you will actually wear. We will be honest about which that is.

Cost and time

For most cases, the cost is similar. Treatment time depends more on the movement needed than the appliance.
