Lakeshore Pavilion

The project
A glass and concrete pavilion that turns a windy stretch of lakefront into a year-round public room.
A single folded concrete roof floats on slender columns, sheltering a café, changing rooms and an open-air stage.
In winter, sliding glass screens close the space down into a warm, bright room for skaters and walkers.
